Calling all private sector DAMA UK members.
Are you interested in access to public sector data?
Is there data that government holds that would benefit your organisation, but you can't get access to it?
Do you have an opinion about the current availability or usefulness of public sector data?
Is public sector data already at the heart of your organisation?
The UK Government wants to hear from you.
The Department for Science, Innovation & Technology (DSIT), the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO), and DAMA are inviting your business to:
an in-person roundtable discussion on 3rd October in London or
an online discussion on 6th October.
The results of the discussion will inform the outcomes of a joint DSIT-CDDO project aimed at exploring how Government could make public sector data more accessible to businesses, start-ups and other external groups, to maximise public and economic value.
On the day we'll cover:
1. Views/experiences with current public sector data sharing ecosystem
2. Strategic issues that more public sector data could help resolve
3. General demand for public sector data
Places are limited to 8 at each event. We can't guarantee a place due to demand and tickets are on a first come first serve basis.
